West Vancouver salon supports Wigs for Kids

Hennessey Salon & Spa master stylist Amber Ongunel and manager Dani Cody along with Bev Friesen, chairwoman of Wigs For Kids B.C., invite the public to the Hennessey Hair Do fundraiser on Sunday, Jan. 11 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the salon’s Park Royal South location. Customers can get a hair cut and style for a minimum donation of $20 (men) or $40 (women). Those who raise a minimum of $40 in pledges get a free cut. All proceeds go to Wigs for Kids B.C., a volunteer-run program out of BC Children’s Hospital that provides free custom-fitted human-hair wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer or other serious illnesses.
