Volunteers Jan Brennan and Bruce McArthur help out as part of a large contingent gathered at MacKay Creek for a riparian restoration event last month. Volunteers removed invasive species and replanted native plants. The event was hosted by a number of environmental groups, including the Habitat Conservation Trust Foundation, Echo Ecological, North Shore Wetland Partners Society and the District of North Vancouver.
