Pet: Patches the therapy cat
Pet tale: Barretto has had cats her whole life, but never considered using them as therapy animals - until she welcomed Patches into the family. "This cat is very special, he's very laid back," she says. In recent months, she's been taking Patches to visit the residents at Inglewood Care Centre in West Vancouver. Both the residents and Patches seem to delight in their time together. "I think he actually enjoys it or I wouldn't continue to take him."
