North Vancouver’s Kitchen and Bath Showroom gets a renovation of their own

The Ensuite North Vancouver Showroom, the largest kitchen and bath showroom on the North Shore, is known for lending their expertise to kitchen and bath renovations large and small.

The Ensuite North Vancouver Showroom, the largest kitchen and bath showroom on the North Shore, is known for lending their expertise to kitchen and bath renovations large and small. It’s no surprise that their own, recently completed renovation provides ample inspiration for anyone looking to upgrade a kitchen or bathroom with unique, hard-to-find fixtures and hardware.

“With the showroom renovation, we wanted to make everything fresh and showcase the state-of-the-art, on trend products we have to offer,” says Showroom Supervisor Julia Templeton. With a revamped space covering 2,500 square feet near Capilano Mall, The Ensuite showroom offers an extensive selection for contractors, designers or homeowners on the North Shore to shop for kitchen and bath fixtures close to home. No need to cross a bridge. Shoppers are welcome to come in and browse through the showroom to see all of the kitchen and bathroom fixtures on display. “If our regular hours do not work with our customers availability, we will work to accommodate their schedule and set-up an appointment. Our customers are the most important factor to our business,” says Templeton.

The Ensuite caters to all budgets and the showroom consultants extensive fixture knowledge helps shoppers find products that suit their vision for their project. If not on display, the showroom consultants have a vast selection of other options or will research bringing in exactly what the customer desires. “We have a whole filing cabinet full of products catalogues” says Templeton. She points out that timeless styles like farmhouse sinks co-exist with futuristic “smart” fixtures in the showroom.

In fact, The Ensuite plans to create a dedicated “smart room” within the showroom. Think no touch, intelligent toilets, that feature bidet functions, a heated seat, self-cleaning, uses less toilet paper and controlled by a remote control. A mirror that you talk to via Alexa to organize your day. A touchless kitchen faucet that you can ask to fill a pot of water and it gives an exact measurement. A shower spa system controlled by an app on your phone.  Templeton points out “Smart products like intelligent toilets, voice activated mirrors and faucets are a futuristic luxury offering that makes everyday tasks easier.”

When choosing brands to showcase in the showroom and which products to bring in, The Ensuite always seeks unique and specialized products with quality being key. Here you can find industry favourite Kohler alongside authentic luxury from the boutique lines from House of Rohl. Specializing in distinctive, artisan made products from specialists around the world.

The Ensuite Showroom is a member of the NKBA – National Kitchen and Bath Association and attends KBIS – The Kitchen and Bathroom Industry Show, a premier kitchen and bath design annual event held in Las Vegas. This event showcases the launch of the new products and the latest trends in the industry. The showroom consultants regularly participate in vendor training to keep up-to-date on product knowledge.

By attending industry events and listening to customer feedback, The Ensuite showroom makes sure the products they carry are in demand and on trend. Templeton singles out matte black and brushed gold fixtures as of-the moment favourites, although chrome is still timeless.

Like all design enthusiasts, The Ensuite teammates are constantly exploring Pinterest, Instagram, HGTV and Houzz to seek fresh ideas and stay informed about trends in the world of design. In fact, two kitchen faucets on display in the showroom were on HGTV’s recent “Rock The Block” series. One of the kitchen faucets, a Kallista living finish gold faucet, was part of the winning kitchen design from this show.

The Ensuite’s four dedicated consultants, some with more than a decade of experience in kitchen and bath design, have an evident passion for their work and the design industry. They are eager to provide information on fixtures from Volcanic limestone freestanding tubs to concrete or copper sinks, to faucets inspired by iconic landmarks or eras. Their motto is simple “we embrace each project with an unwavering dedication.” The Ensuite’s own renovation project was no exception.
