Since opening, Milestones Park Royal has raised $8,200 for West Vancouver Royal Canadian Marine Search & Rescue.
At its soft launch, the restaurant had raised $5,400 for the non-profit. On July 14, Milestones hosted a grand opening party and once again partnered with West Vancouver Royal Canadian Marine Search & Rescue. At the event, both the restaurant and the search and rescue group raised money through a silent auction, 50/50, and the staff donated their tips to raise $2,800.
John Dormer, vice-president, said, “We are proud to name the Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue as our charity of choice. The work they do in our community is incredibly important as they save lives on a daily basis and our fundraising efforts couldn’t go to a better local cause.”
