Colourful banners are flying across the North Shore, as this year’s Pride Week gets underway.
On Monday, flag-raising ceremonies were held at municipal halls in West Vancouver, as well as North Vancouver city and district.
The gatherings were attended by elected officials, police and members of the public.
Multicoloured stripes representing the pride, transgender and pride progress flags will fly throughout the week.
