Chair of the North Vancouver Recreation Commission Doug Green, District of North Vancouver Mayor Richard Walton, North Vancouver Tennis Society’s Michael Thornton and NVRC’s Tom Walker celebrate the expansion of the newly renamed North Vancouver Tennis Centre, formerly known as the Grant Connell Tennis Centre. Located at 280 Lloyd Ave., the facility has undergone an almost 25,000-square-foot expansion with the addition of three new tennis courts, bringing the total to nine full-size courts. The $4.6-million expansion also includes a smaller children’s court, two-level viewing area, expanded lobby and meeting room.
