The Vancouver Finlandia Club and the Finnish War Veterans in B.C. are presenting the premiere of a new Finnish-Canadian documentary film, From the Front to the West Coast: The Recollections of the Finnish War Veterans in Vancouver on Sunday, March 9 at the BlueShore Financial Centre for the Performing Arts at 2 p.m. A number of the veterans featured, including Coquitlam resident Eino Kyynäräinen, a flight mechanic shown here in 1944, will be in attendance, along with executive producer Leena Kelly, a longtime West Vancouver resident, and director Satu Bell.
