Ever wonder what the North Shore used to look like?

Here are some photos with a glimpse into our past.

It goes without saying that the North Shore has a rich and storied history. But some may not know what that history actually looked like.

More interesting (for some of us, anyway) is just how past North Shore looks compared to the North Shore of today. Thanks to North Vancouver Museum & Archives, we have a better idea. Below are a series of images from our past (all courtesy of the NVMA), contrasted with photos of today, taken by North Shore News photographers.
