Members of the CityFest marketing and promotions team are gearing up for the annual event, which will bring together more than 30 local youth organizations and businesses. Part of National Youth Week, the festival takes place May 3 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Lonsdale Skate Park and the adjacent parking lot. Hundreds of local young people will show off their talents in visual arts, performing arts, skateboarding, longboarding and more. Some 4,000 people attended last year’s event.
