A Metro Vancouver man says he was a little "dazed" after winning an online jackpot with BCLC.
Robert Bedford was delighted to see the word "jackpot" flash across his computer screen on the morning of July 15.
The Surrey resident won the $313,000 Slots Jackpot on BCLC’s PlayNow.com.
“I was playing on my computer in the kitchen and, suddenly, it said, ‘Jackpot’ on the screen,” he said.
The excited winner couldn't wait to tell his wife the good news but she was sleeping.
“I woke her up to show her my screen. She was excited and happy for me,” he recalled.
Bedford wants to invest some of his winnings and pay off his sister's mortgage. He also hopes to travel across the province to visit family.
