RCMP say a multiple-vehicle collision prompted a response from paramedics, fire rescue, highway crews, tow trucks and RCMP.
Three cars were involved in the crash, which occurred on the intersection of Highway 99 and Mamquam Road. The incident occurred on Sept. 7 at about 9:50 a.m.
“This accident caused significant disruption in traffic flow,” said Cpl. Angela Kermer in a news release.
Officers say the crash appears to be triggered by a medical condition, though the investigation is still in its early stages.
Police have cleared the scene and traffic flow has returned to normal.
