A woman was allegedly assaulted by a man she met through a social media site and police in Surrey need help finding him.
On July 2, the woman met the man and told police he assaulted her in the 14900-block of 84 Avenue.
She met the man through a social media site and said the man was known to her as "David."
Surrey RCMP investigators have not been able to identify the suspect and are asking for the public’s help.
He is described as a Caucasian man, in his mid-30s, with brown red-coloured short hair and a heavy build.
The suspect has distinct tattoos on his right arm with a full sleeve of characters from The Simpsons, and he has a tattoo on his right calf.
Police are asking anyone who knows the suspect or has information to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 and quote file number 2024-95683.
