Last November Canadian singer/songwriter Andy Shauf formed the band Foxwarren with his childhood friends Dallas Bryson (guitar/vocals) and brothers Darryl Kissick (bass) and Avery Kissick (drums & percussion) and released a self-titled debut album.

This week they announced they’re going out on a North American tour, including a June 4 date in Vancouver at the Biltmore Cabaret with Hannah Cohen. Tickets go on sale today: eventbrite.ca/e/foxwarren-tickets-57044743363.

They’ve also released a new video for the album track “Sunset Canyon,” directed by Laura-Lynn Petrick and featuring actor Busy Philipps.

“Working with Laura-Lynn on the video was so amazing,” says Philipps in a press release. “She is such a talent and I loved the easy going vibe of the day, wandering through the canyon with her in my mom’s dress from the sixties.”

Petrick also added, “The video was my ethereal gaze on a female seeking serenity in the nature that surrounds her. Inspired by Italian neorealism, Busy and I spent the day exploring the forests of the canyons and enjoying the winter sun reflecting with nature.”
